The reviews for Cortland Edgewood and Vista Springs Majestic Bliss present a mixed picture of these assisted living facilities. Many reviewers praise the staff for being caring, friendly, and accommodating, with some highlighting the variety of activities and clean environments. Residents and their families appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, with some noting the reasonable pricing compared to other facilities. However, there are significant concerns about management instability, frequent price increases, and poor communication. Some reviewers report issues with medication management, cleanliness, and inadequate care, including instances of neglect and unprofessional behavior by staff. The facilities have undergone ownership changes, leading to disorganization and confusion. Some residents have experienced problems with contract agreements and unexpected rent increases. There are also complaints about the quality of food, lack of dietary consideration, and repetitive meal options. A few reviews mention serious issues like bed bugs, understaffing, and unlicensed operations, advising potential residents to be cautious. Despite these challenges, some families express satisfaction with the care provided, noting that their loved ones feel at home and are well taken care of. Overall, while there are positive aspects, the reviews suggest that prospective residents should carefully consider both the strengths and weaknesses of these facilities before making a decision.

This facility is currently being taken over and prices for care are dramatically increasing. The new owners are showing us why healthcare for profit is a cruel joke. If large sums of money aren't paid out by a certain times people's care will be stopped and if a healthcare provider that works for the facility provides that care they will be in trouble. Some of these people have lived there for years and are about to lose their care and have to be displaced.
