The video presentation has several incorrect statements. It is true that the building is old and is in need of a lot of updating. Food is inconsistent, often not hot or even warm. Housekeeping staff is inadequate for a weekly light cleaning. The adververtised "bus trips" are not accurately described. There recently has been an issue where 3 women on staff having made incorrect accusations about the management. The management company headquarted in Louisville, KY, is only interested in filling up the building and does not address the concerns of the residents. Residents are unhappy about the annual raises in rent causing some residents moving out or currently seeking other housing arrangements. I do not recommend Windlands South as a place that feels like a safe environment for senior living.
