What families are saying

The reviews for Truewood by Merrill Riverchase present a mixed picture. Many residents and their families praise the facility for its friendly and attentive staff, clean and well-maintained environment, and a variety of engaging activities. The dining experience is frequently highlighted as a positive aspect, with residents enjoying the meals and social interactions during dining. The facility's location and the spaciousness of the rooms are also appreciated by several reviewers. However, some reviews point out significant issues, such as initial problems that required intervention from senior management, and concerns about the memory care unit's environment. A few reviewers mention negative experiences with staff behavior, missing personal items, and inadequate communication. There are also criticisms regarding the food quality and the facility's ability to accommodate independent living needs, with some residents feeling the environment is more suited for assisted living. Overall, while many residents and families express satisfaction with the care and community atmosphere at Truewood by Merrill Riverchase, there are notable concerns that potential residents should consider. The facility seems to excel in creating a welcoming and supportive environment, but improvements in certain areas, such as food quality and staff consistency, could enhance the overall experience.
