What families are saying

We’ve gathered and summarized real family reviews from across the internet for you. Contact a Seniorly representative for details.
Reviews of Pinicon Senior Living are overwhelmingly positive, emphasizing its welcoming, clean, home-like environment and compassionate staff. Families frequently describe employees as attentive, patient, respectful, responsive, and willing to go above and beyond. Many feel residents are treated like family, with staff learning their histories, communicating promptly, providing updates, and offering reassurance to relatives who live far away. Several reviewers praised the support given during moves into assisted living or memory care, as well as the kindness shown during end-of-life care. Residents and families appreciate the facility’s activities, outings, church services, entertainment, family events, private rooms and bathrooms, transportation to appointments, and opportunities for social engagement. Memory care is often described as small, personal, secure, and well staffed. Reviewers also mention made-to-order breakfasts, flexible meal alternatives, restaurant-style dining, and staff efforts to accommodate dietary needs. Employees commonly describe Pinicon as a supportive, friendly workplace with strong relationships among staff and residents. A smaller number of reviews raise concerns. Criticism includes inconsistent or poor-quality food, frequent chef changes, inadequate vegetables, and dissatisfaction with management or communication. One family reported being disappointed when a hospitalized resident was not allowed to return, feeling expectations about care levels had not been clearly explained. Other isolated complaints mention housekeeping concerns, an allegedly unclean kitchen, a memory-care floor needing mopping, laundry-room maintenance, and a safety concern involving dryer lint. Some reviewers also noted occasional care mix-ups or management issues, although one said concerns were addressed promptly. Overall, the reviews portray Pinicon as a caring, community-oriented senior living facility with strong staff relationships and meaningful activities, while suggesting that food service, maintenance, consistency, and communication during complex care transitions could be improved.

Vio, the main caregiver, is an Angel. From the time my dad moved in, she was kind, gentle and compassionate to his needs. I am thankful for this place. We had an urgent last-minute need to find a place and God answered our prayers, as the whole staff was kind and very accommodating to our situation.
