Nazareth House receives a mix of positive and negative reviews. Many reviewers praise the facility for its beautiful gardens, clean environment, and friendly, caring staff. The involvement of the Sisters of Nazareth and the Catholic community is highlighted as a comforting aspect for residents, especially those who are devout Catholics. Activities, social events, and day trips are appreciated, contributing to a lively atmosphere. The facility's spacious rooms and proximity to medical facilities are also noted as advantages. However, some reviews point out significant concerns. Complaints include understaffing, slow response times to call buttons, and lack of communication from management. Issues with cleanliness and odors in certain areas are mentioned, along with dissatisfaction regarding the handling of medical care and emergencies. Some reviewers express frustration with the facility's inability to provide specialized care for Alzheimer's and dementia patients, despite advertising such services. The food receives mixed feedback, with some residents enjoying it while others find it lacking. The facility's Catholic orientation is both a draw and a limitation, depending on individual preferences. Overall, while many residents and their families are satisfied with the care and environment at Nazareth House, others have experienced challenges that impact their perception of the facility.

My Father is very happy. The staff seems very consistent. He's had some amazing caretakers there (especially compared to Ocean Villa). The food is very good. In fact he's gained a bit too much weight! 😉 He has a lovely group of friends. It was the perfect place for him.
