I could not say enough positive things about Safe Haven. My dad was there until he passed away a few months ago. He had a debilitating illness that made it difficult for him to do anything for himself. The caregivers were so kind, attentive, and attuned. They treated him with so much dignity and respect while he was in a very vulnerable state. They welcomed us all like family and it was such a comfortable and comforting place to go to visit my dad. I am so glad my dad was able to receive care from A Safe Haven and the owner is also so supportive and knowledgeable. They really will go out of their way to make both the residents and their family members feel at home.

All I know is that my Mother In Law, who will be 103 in November, was in a bad state from being in bed 24/7 past couple months. We realized she could do a lot more and have a higher quality 'rest of her life' if we could find a place that doesn't call Hospice until they absolutely must. She was at Save Haven less than 18 hours when we returned at mid morning and found her in a comfy recliner in the living room visiting with another resident and making the staff laugh. She had been being bathed in bed etc...These people lifted her in to the shower and she was able to wash herself...she was so happy about that. She sat in her wheel chair to eat and ate well. Then was moved to living room and placed in the recliner ... The atmosphere in the home is wonderful. Lively, kind, supportive. You can just, plain feel good about having a loved one there. I know It's early for a review but we are talking, like a miracle has taken place. She's a fighter and proving it, with help from 'new friends'

At A Safe Haven, my father in law now looks like when me and his grandchildren would take care of him when under our care. Which is well groomed, shaven, nails cleaned and cut, dressed every day in clean clothes, and his hair combed. Not to mention the staff at Alan’s keeps a sharp and close eye on every single patient round the clock to prevent them from falling or hurting themselves. They interact with them, they treat them like family. At A Safe Haven they know that this is part of their daily job responsibilities to care for our senior citizens so their family members can be able to visit with them and enjoy once more the time they have left with their loved ones. We are all headed this way I hope that we are lucky to have caring and compassionate people like A Safe Haven to look after us when we become unable to care for ourselves. Thank you Alan and Staff at A Safe Haven. May the Universe and all that’s good and kind befall upon you 🌻
