What families are saying

The reviews for Village Pointe Commons present a mixed picture. Many reviewers praise the facility for its friendly and accommodating staff, clean and well-maintained environment, and a wide range of activities and amenities, including a swimming pool, gym, and various social events. Residents and their families appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the staff's efforts to make the community feel like home. Specific staff members, such as Kathy and Ann, receive commendations for their helpfulness and positive interactions. However, there are significant criticisms as well. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with the management and care staff, citing issues with communication, staff availability, and responsiveness to residents' needs. Concerns about the quality of food are frequent, with several reviewers noting that meals are often subpar, leading some residents to avoid dining at the facility. There are also complaints about the lack of enforcement of mask rules and inadequate communication regarding COVID-19 cases. The facility's appearance and amenities are generally well-received, but some reviewers mention that the layout can be confusing and that maintenance requests are not always promptly addressed. While many residents and their families are pleased with the community, others express disappointment and frustration, particularly regarding the care and attention provided to residents. Overall, Village Pointe Commons seems to offer a positive environment for many, but there are areas that require improvement to meet the expectations of all residents and their families.

The staff and residents at Atria are lovely people. They did everything possible to help our family out of a crisis situation and into their safe, secure, wonderful environment where my mother could enjoy living and thrive despite her need for memory care.
