After only 2 months at Somerford my family made the decision to return my uncle to his home and bring in outside help. The physical therapy he received was outstanding as were the instructors. The activities offered were many, however my uncle just was not interested in participating. Potential families need to be shown all the rooms where activities/facilities are held, mingle with the residents and explain the day to day operation of the facility. I think that will help set the expectations for future residents.
