Lake Morton Senior Living receives mixed reviews, with many praising its welcoming atmosphere, caring staff, and vibrant community. Residents and their families appreciate the spacious apartments, some with beautiful lake views, and the variety of activities offered, including bingo, crafts, and outings. The facility is noted for its cleanliness, attentive maintenance, and accommodating dining services, although some find the common areas cramped and the building's age apparent. Several reviews highlight the friendly and helpful staff, with specific mentions of individuals who enhance the community experience. The location is convenient, close to downtown Lakeland and local amenities. However, some residents express dissatisfaction with the food quality and menu changes, and there are concerns about the elevators' reliability and the lack of outdoor spaces. Critics mention issues with cleanliness, outdated facilities, and management practices, including allegations of theft and poor treatment of residents. Some reviews describe the facility as feeling more like a nursing home than independent living, with a high percentage of residents requiring significant care. Despite these concerns, many residents and their families express overall satisfaction, citing the community's affordability and the peace of mind it provides. Overall, Lake Morton Senior Living is seen as a good value for those seeking a supportive environment with a strong sense of community, though potential residents are encouraged to visit and assess the facility in person to ensure it meets their needs and expectations.

I recently moved into a two bedroom apartment at Lake Moron Plaza. I used to live at another independent living community before this and this has been a huge upgrade as a lower cost. From the initial consultation to movineing in was a very seemless process. The administration staff are very prompt with any queries that you have throughout. I am very happy with my spacious apartment and it has a beautiful view from the balcony. I would recommend it to anyone looking for independent living apartments.
