I would not recommend sending your loved one to The Oaks at Conyers unless you don’t care about them. Leadership and management are unresponsive, retaliatory, and only want residents with uninvolved families. When we raised valid concerns about poor care, neglect, and unsafe conditions, they discharged our mother instead of addressing the problems. During her two-year stay, we experienced constant understaffing, unclean rooms, residents left soiled for hours, no activities or nursing staff for months, and a filthy facility that often smelled of urine. Staff were lazy, unprofessional, and unsupervised, even falsifying medication records without consequence. Corporate leaders ignored us for over a year. While a few staff members like Melissa, Pauline, and Jennifer were kind, the overall culture is toxic and uncaring. For your loved one’s safety and dignity, avoid The Oaks at Conyers and the entire Oaks organization.
