The 20 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Lenexa, KS

My mother has been there about 4 years. Was good in the begining but this year trash is rarely emptied and we often took it out after a week and it smelled. Despite being posted it is emptied daily and much discussion with management about it. Laundry is included in the rent to be done weekly, many times it goes 3 weeks or more and I do it. Again have addressed with management and they seem unable or unwilling to correct it. Medication management is being paid for and I found a pill on the carpet on one visit and a few weeks ago 2 doses of pills were sitting around her apartment and no one knew what days they were from. Mom had a bad cough, I pushed her nursing pendant and no one came. Went looking for help and 2 different aids showed their pagers were not registering her pendant. They said it wasn't unusual. Took me 5 days and sitting in the lobby to finally get a working pendant put on. Management is not responsive to issues The food service is good & the facility is nice.
