First and foremost, my dad is very well taken care of and the staff is wonderful to him and our family. The rooms and facility are comfortable and nicely decorated. There are a couple things we would like to see improved. The meals are unappetizing and very little variety. Not every resident has the same dietary needs or wants and for the cost of living there we think they should have better options. The issues are most likely caused by being understaffed. It has been that way since dad moved in over a year ago. Also, each time I've used the public bathrooms off the common area they needed cleaned. Floors and toilets especially. Again, probably due to understaffing. Thankfully, the staff concentrates on the care, companionship and entertainment of the residents. A housekeeper and and extra pair of hands in the kitchen is all that's needed to improve. All said, dad loves the staff and we are happy with the facility.
