As someone with loved ones in senior living, it is heartbreaking to watch what has happened to St. Joseph Village since Forefront Living took over. What once felt like a warm, loving home where staff truly treated residents like family has shifted into a cold, corporate environment where compassion seems secondary to policy. Long-time employees residents knew, trusted, and loved have been terminated, pushed out, or left, leaving families and residents grieving the loss of familiar faces and meaningful relationships. The culture that made this community special — hugs, comfort, companionship, and genuine human connection — appears to be disappearing. Families do not place parents and grandparents in senior living to be treated like room numbers under a handbook. We expect them to be loved. Instead, there is an unsettling atmosphere, alarming turnover, and serious concern about the direction of leadership. I would strongly urge families to ask hard questions before trusting this facility
