The corporate office demanded we delete a negative online review and give them 5 stars before they would mail a refund. After the death of my mother, per lease agreement, they would not refund our recent payment.  We paid $5,300 on 11/2 and my mother passed on 11/3. The contract reads: “In the event of a Termination of this lease agreement under any of the conditions set forth in this Termination Section of the Lease the final month's rent WILL NOT BE PRORATED and shall be considered fully earned by the Community.” My definition of contract termination is not death, but we had signed this agreement. I posted a review online with our disappointment.  The owner of the facility replied a review:  Please contact us so we can at least right the financial part for you during this difficult time.  Silver Leaf Assisted Living and Memory Care / Lake Point Assisted Living own 30 plus facilities in the Dallas area.   We will not ask them again, we will not lie and provide a false rating.
