All of the clothing and even prescription glasses that we brought to the facility for my grandmother was stolen. The only thing that she had left was her coat and sneakers. Unfortunately, I don't know who did it, but she left there with only the clothes on her back, which was a Bushwick t-shirt and sweat pant set. She even had her puzzle books and scratch-offs stolen. SMH. I also believe they tried to exhaust her insurance. She went to the facility for a fractured hip. After 6 weeks, OT and PT cleared her for discharge. The NP threw a week-long monkey wrench in her discharge plans because of this new found "low potassium". Grandma has NEVER had low potassium. When I asked for the blood test results....all of a sudden there was a change in her potassium to a good number. I pray that if you take your loved one here you monitor everything about their care. Take pictures, be persistent and get records everything. Stay active in their care.
