The community as a whole is great, but I find its a problem at Verra Springs when Resident wants to eat in their room. Not that I think getting them to interact in the dining room setting is bad. I think it's their choice to eat where they are comfortable. They pay lots of money for their living situations/arrangements and delivery of meals should be an option not a paid necessity. These are our elderly who has worked their entire life and Abbottswood should not penny, nickel and dime them to death.
The sense of community at WhiteStone is incredible. Everyone looks out for each other, and families feel at ease knowing their loved one is surrounded by supportive and compassionate staff.
It does not appear they clean rooms regularly such as dusting imparticular. They also do not have an ice machi e so that patients can have beverages with ice in them.
