Forest Hills Care Center

Forest Hills has a very friendly atmosphere. Every time I come (weekly) to visit Elsbeth, the staff goes out of their way to say hi to me and answer my questions about how Elsbeth is doing. I am especially impressed with Valerie (activities director) and Denise (arts and crafts). They show such interest in Elsbeth. Every weekday there are morning and afternoon activities for the residents. Valerie showed me videos of squirt gun fights outside on hot days and Elsbeth enjoying herself bowling. Today they offer nail polishing in the beauty salon. The cafeteria becomes an art room on some afternoons. Elsbeth has enjoyed making a collage on wood and painting colorful flowers on different backgrounds. The workers at Forest Hills go out of their way to make the residents and the volunteers feel very comfortable. Forest hills is a very welcoming place. Thanks Forest Hills!
