The medical team (2 NPs 1 doctor) is slow to act on diagnosing issues. 5 days after my mother started suddenly having delirium they did their 1st test. The NP never returned our call asking to speak with her. In addition, certain staff members did not follow orders for care. We met with the Director of Nurses. Nothing changed despite her promises. Even when a family member enacted her role as medical POA, they did not communicate. The medical team did whatever they wanted. No one sent out an order for her oxygen when she was discharged. The next day we called and sent emails to get the order sent to an oxygen company. It was sent out around 4 pm on a Friday. We are now going on day 3 without it. Their records showed outdated orders several times when they looked up information. My mother could have died due to lengthy delays in treatment. They have a good PT/OT department, and some of the individual caregivers care but if you want quality medical care, you should look elsewhere.
