I was scheduled to be there for 30 days. I went in after an illness and a 5 day hospital stay. I had a bad fall Dec 27,2024 and badly broke my right wrist. I am right handed so was struggling to use my left hand only. In late Jan 2025 I became very ill with a bad stomach issue and was very dehydrated and spent 5 days in the hospital. I went to Belmont upon discharge from the hospital. I only went to regain strength and for physical therapy. Belmont "looks" nice and that is about all. The shower in my room had a hole completely through the floor, the shower chair was broken and the carpet was thin bare in a few places and just Dirty. If you ring the bell for assistance, will, just be ready to Wait, wait and wait. Several times I did not receive a meal and had to ask for them. Pam from physical therapy was awesome as were Ruth and Diane who helped me with a shower. Even after talking with assistant nursing, issues were not resolved. I would not recommend it.

If I could give 0 Stars I would. The nursing staff is terrible. The Charge nurse was dismissive, unwelcoming, refused to make eye contact with me and just brushed me off. The rooms were hot, 77 degrees, my 10 month old grand baby picked up a pill that was on the floor by the bed, the sheets had not been changed in 4 days, my poor dad looked dirty, he was in nothing but a diaper when I arrived from out of town at 12:30 in the afternoon, there were no wash clothes or anything to wash his face. One nurse couldn’t hide the way she felt about my dad, which wasn’t good, by her face speaking so loudly. She was kind as could be to my grand baby. She’s there to be kind and gentle and treat patients with dignity on top of her more professional duties. I was sickened by the lack of care given. A week ago my dad was taken to the ER from this facility because my dad was left unattended for hours while propped in a wheelchair and he fell asleep and fell out of the chair face first.

I've been made to feel like less than human by the staff at Belmont. I was told I'm going to "wait for your wife to suffer a fall so Medicare will pay for continued care" by PT staff because I said I couldn't afford private care. She was making with progress at another facility after her knee surgery before being transferred to Belmont. Please, if you have any other options - DON'T allow your family to go here.

Please do not put loved ones here. Under staffed ,under trained, they do as little as possible and could care less.this place is a joke. I visited my dad every day For 10 days and he was declining instead of recovering . I am 59 years old and have seen plenty of nursing homes from before when my grandfather and grandmother were in them. This place looks good when you walk in but don’t be fooled . I have videos and photos.
