Darin Smith, Certified Senior Advisor and owner of Oasis Senior Advisors Carmel, was born in Indiana and spent 11 years in Colorado before returning to Carmel, IN to raise his family and be closer to his brother and parents. Darin has volunteered for several nonprofit organizations around the country. He currently sits on the board for the American Lung Association of Indiana and assists with Hero Reward, a statewide organization that provides a therapeutic retreat for injured veterans and first responders. These organizations all offer care, compassion, and support to people transitioning to the next phase of their life. Darin has witnessed first-hand the many struggles of individuals and caregivers during such times of life transition. These experiences led him to Oasis Senior Advisors and are the reasons why he is committed to being a trusted advisor. Darin welcomes the opportunity to partner with families to guide them through the options and provide the resources that will meet each family’s needs. In his down time, Darin enjoys coaching and supporting his three sons’ sports teams and their extracurricular activities, as well as supporting his spouse who has dedicated her career to developing programs for those in need, especially those that are socially isolated. His previous career as a Project Manager offered him the ability to work for several companies and nonprofits around the country, helping improve their systems and the communities they serve.
