Joanne Wigod

Joanne Wigod is the new owner of Assisted Living Locators Northern Baltimore. She is excited to provide a no cost, placement and referral service to her local community that offers the best senior care options, information and resources available. As a member of the Baltimore community for more than 40 years, Joanne attended the University of Rochester earning a BA in Political Science and American History. She moved to Baltimore after attending the University of Pittsburgh Law School where she became interested in wine. She has had a successful career in the wine industry, becoming the first female wine sales representative in Maryland, and eventually a winery division sales manager. Joanne was drawn to join the Assisted Living Locators team after experiencing the challenge of finding a safe, enriching environment for her mother when she became ill and could no longer live on her own. Joanne is a results-oriented, creative problem-solver. She will use that skill and that tenacity to help Marylanders navigate this challenge in their lives.
