About me

Keith has spent the last 11 years working with older adults in Central Virginia—first as a chaplain at UVA Medical Center, then with hospice, assisted living, and a regional home care agency. Those years provided a panoramic and clear view of the whole ecosystem. Keith is well equipped to enter the chaos faced by older adults and their families; to calmly, carefully connect resources to their specific hopes and needs.

In 2022 he founded Next Step Senior Consulting. Next Step starts by carefully listening to the priorities and preferences of each client, then does all the legwork to identify the best options, schedule and accompany all tours, and assist with paperwork. After move-in, Next Step visits each client at least twice monthly for a year, providing relational support and advocacy.
