What families are saying

Corso Atlanta, a senior living community, receives mixed reviews. Many praise its stunning facilities, luxurious amenities, and beautiful design, likening it to a five-star hotel. Residents and visitors appreciate the wide range of activities, excellent food, and the unique model that allows for both independent and assisted living in the same space. The staff is often described as caring, friendly, and attentive, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, there are significant concerns about staff turnover, which affects the consistency of care and service. Some reviews highlight issues with understaffing, slow maintenance responses, and poor communication between departments. The elevator frequently malfunctions, leaving residents stranded, and food delivery services are sometimes unreliable. Additionally, some staff members report feeling undervalued and mistreated, with residents and families being disrespectful. While some residents and their families are delighted with the community and the improvements in their loved ones' quality of life, others have experienced dissatisfaction due to inconsistent care and management issues. Overall, Corso Atlanta is seen as a facility with great potential, but it faces challenges in maintaining a high standard of service and care due to staffing and management issues.

As the younger daughter of a beloved 86-year-old, I can't help but share the immense joy my mother has discovered at Corso Atlanta. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a warm embrace, not just for her, but for our entire family. The staff are proactive and genuine. Their personalized approach ensures she feels valued and understood The facilities are top-notch, like really amazing, I kind of want to live there too. The flower shop alone is my happy place when I visit. My momparticularly enjoys the sense of community, she's made friends which was an important piece of our deciding to move. For any family seeking a nurturing and vibrant senior living community, I wholeheartedly recommend Corso Atlanta.

Beautiful Property. Incredible amenities, like living in a 5-star hotel. Food and Beverage are far and away better than any other community I've seen.

This community has truly exceeded my expectations. While it is a very new concept for senior living and really there's nothing like it in Atlanta at all - so of course there have been some growing pains. Overall though, I think the management has done a great job of listening and course correcting along we way.

Pros: Beautiful spaces, outstanding amenities, friendly employees as helpful and kind as they can be, a nice array of interesting activities and delicious food in the dining room. Cons: many staffing and management issues; the large size and unusual layout of the facility without intuitive naming of the separate towers, good maps and signage makes it a challenge for new residents, visitors and those with cognitive impairment to navigate; not enough healthy choices on the dining menus, especially considering the common health issues of its residents; overall lack of understanding, consideration or resources for residents with cognitive impairment who are not yet or who may never become candidates for memory care.
