Toured recently with my mother and we both were very impressed. We were greeted by a friendly Valet staff member and escorted into the spacious lobby with beautiful decor and a large waterfall. The sales team member was informative and inspiring, as we toured several apartment styles and a multitude of floors with various amenities! Mom loved the rooftop pool and gym! I loved the 18th floor sky lounge. Several groups of residents were assembled there interacting with each other in card games, music, and a book club. Very impressive. The icing on the cake for mom was the lovely garden area and dog park. Pets are welcomed and she was thrilled to know she can bring her poodle. I can share that the pricing for the 1 bedroom apartment we saw was comparable to her home but with so much more included! Definitely recommend that anyone interested in retirement living for their parents, to take a tour!

Heartis Buckhead is a stunning community. The amenities are the best I’ve seen in a senior living community. I love how many dining venues there are, and the food has been exceptional every time I’ve had the opportunity to dine. Recently my mom moved into independent living at Heartis, and though there are a lot of nice things to say about it (the food is good and the staff are friendly), there are some serious management failures than cannot be overlooked. - Heartis is a non-smoking facility, but for months has allowed a smoker to smoke on the twelfth floor. This compromises the health and safety of Heartis residents. - Staff turnover. The management is unable to retain staff, and this is impacting on the quality of life of the residents. - The management is not trust worthy and takes advantage of their elderly residents. Last week my mother put a $1000 deposit on an apartment in the building that would have allowed her to move to a floor where there are not currently any smokers. When she called yesterday to accept the new place, they told her that the person who had made the offer (in writing btw) had quit and it was no longer valid. They gave her a new price with a $300 increase.

Heartis is very well decorated but inside things are different. A car has been promised for two years for transportation needs and has never been delivered. The food has gone down hill dramatically,some residents were without hot water for over a month, housekeeping is very poor,and there has been two executive directors and Two interim directors in two years. Presently there is no permanent director. The rent is quite high and the services are very poor or non existent. I
