Once it became obvious that my dad could no longer live alone because of his memory issues, we started looking in the area. Brookdale was our top choice despite being a little more expensive than some of the smaller "home-style" offerings. The staff at Brookdale are like an extended family, they communicate so well about what's going on with my dad when I am not there. I won't say that this stage of life is easy, but I also feel like I have a team helping me to take good care of my dad. Thanks to everyone who works there!
