Diamond Willow of Proctor has received mixed reviews from visitors and family members of residents. Many people have praised the facility for its warm and caring staff, who are described as helpful and attentive. The community is noted for having nice areas for families to gather and for hosting enjoyable holiday parties. The facility is divided into several buildings, with specific areas for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. Some reviewers appreciated the cleanliness and care provided, mentioning that residents were kept clean and free from bedsores. However, there are concerns about management and staffing. Some visitors noted that the staff consists mainly of personal assistants rather than higher-level nursing staff, which may limit the level of care provided. There have been complaints about the facility being understaffed, with reports of only one staff member being present during certain shifts. Additionally, some visitors have observed a decline in the facility's maintenance and cleanliness, with unpleasant odors and unappealing food being mentioned. The facility was sold to a large corporation, which some believe has affected the quality of care. Despite these issues, many residents and their families have had positive experiences, enjoying the activities and social interactions available. Overall, while Diamond Willow of Proctor has been a good place for some, there are areas that need improvement, particularly in staffing and facility maintenance.

The shared rooms are small with a shared closet. The care is sub par due to staff being expected to do the cares, pass medications, do all the cleaning, do all the laundry, cook all the meals, and do the activities. Two staff for 12 people can not do an adequate job with all of the expectations. The owners and management company only care about the money and not about the staff or residents.
