The reviews for The Wellington, a senior living community, present a mixed picture. Many residents and their families praise the facility for its welcoming atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and a wide range of activities. The staff is frequently described as caring, attentive, and dedicated, with specific mentions of individuals like Ava, Miguel, and Jeanette for their exceptional service. The dining experience is often highlighted as a positive aspect, with residents enjoying the food and the restaurant-like setting. However, there are notable criticisms as well. Some reviews mention issues with understaffing, slow maintenance responses, and inadequate care, particularly for residents with specific needs like dementia. Concerns about safety, such as unlocked doors and inappropriate staff behavior, are also raised. A few reviews describe negative experiences with management, citing poor communication and a lack of transparency. Additionally, some residents and their families express dissatisfaction with the handling of COVID-19 protocols and the quality of meals during the pandemic. Overall, while The Wellington receives high marks for its community feel and staff dedication, there are significant concerns about staffing levels, management practices, and resident safety that potential residents and their families should consider.

The Wellington director seems inexperienced. The Wellington offers degrees of care. When the director of Wellington said our mom needed more care, she Reccommended care that had a circle for her to walk in and another community. We had her evaluated and by two other communities and were told she could be on the assisted side with the more assisted package. The Wellington forced her to move out. They would not allow us to pay for that package that they offer too. The staff has talked about my mom, in uncaring ways. The receptionist has told me and my sister no one likes my mom. My mom has felt very uncomfortable coming out of her room. I hope this review will be helpful to other families who are trying to decide where there loved ones will receive the help, the love, and the acceptance, they need .

I haven't found a better community than this one. I see nothing but smiles as I walk the hallways. The smells of the five star dining are to die for. Hands down the number one community in all the surrounding areas.
