The reviews for The Rivers at Puyallup present a mixed picture. Many residents and their families praise the community for its friendly and caring staff, engaging activities, and clean facilities. The atmosphere is often described as welcoming and family-like, with residents enjoying a variety of activities and good dining options. Some reviewers highlight the attentive care provided by the nursing staff and the supportive environment for both residents and their families. However, there are significant criticisms, particularly regarding management and staff turnover. Some reviewers express frustration with management's lack of responsiveness to complaints and issues, citing instances of missing personal items and poor communication. Concerns about staff being overworked, underpaid, and sometimes inattentive are also mentioned. Additionally, some reviews point out issues with food quality and the handling of care charges. The facility's location and amenities receive positive feedback, but the cost of care and additional charges are noted as potential drawbacks. While some families have had positive experiences with the transition and care provided, others have faced challenges with management and staff consistency.
