Singleton Health Care Center is a family owned business located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio just a few blocks from University Center. The facility, established in 1935, offers two levels of care—skilled nursing home and assisted living. The assisted living facility is comprised of 22 private suites with private bathrooms in a restored Tudor mansion. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided to residences. The skill nursing home was added in 2003 and has 50 beds. Nurses are on site 24-hours a day. Medical offices are located within walking distance of Singleton Heath Care for routine, preventative screenings and well visits. Therapy services provided on site include occupational, speech and physical. Residents are provided three meals a day and two snacks. Daily life can consist of a cooking class or a fitness session. The site has an herb and vegetable garden that is tended to by staff and residents. Outings include movies, sporting events, restaurants, museums and shopping trips.
