Avenue at Lyndhurst

My mother moved in 2022. The aesthetics of the place is beautiful yet the staff isn’t. This places isn’t anywhere you would want to bring your loved one. The nights and weekends are constantly under staffed, the aids tend to talk over her bed about personal thing, on the weekends you can barely find clean linen. What truly saddens my heart is I had to post a note on the wall in how to care for my mom. Not to mention I had to add a camera so I can monitor and communicate with my mom. Because of this my mother has the beginning of bed sores due to them not attending to her in a timely manner for the second time. I constantly have to call the facility to tell them an aid hasn’t attended my mother in sometime 4,5,6 or even a whole 8 hour work shift . I send emails the the D.O.N and director and sometimes they’ll reply back. Just save yourself the trouble.
