The reviews for Morada Lake Arlington present a mixed picture. Many residents and their families praise the facility for its friendly and caring staff, clean environment, and engaging activities. Positive feedback highlights the quality of food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the helpfulness of staff members like Patricia and Bryan. Residents appreciate the spacious apartments and the variety of amenities, including a library, movie theater, and exercise programs. The facility is often described as a place where residents can enjoy a fulfilling and social lifestyle. However, there are notable criticisms, particularly regarding the memory care and assisted living sections. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with the level of care, citing issues with staff communication, coordination between shifts, and a perceived lack of genuine concern for residents. Complaints also include the facility's push for privately funded sitters and the handling of residents who are more mobile. A few reviews mention financial disputes and concerns about billing practices. Overall, while many find Morada Lake Arlington to be a supportive and enjoyable community, others have experienced challenges, particularly in the areas of care and communication. The facility seems to excel in independent living, but there are areas for improvement in memory care and assisted living services.

My Mom lived in the Morada Lake Arlington Memory Care for 5 months. It was a terrible experience. Supposedly the care staff are trained to help redirect residents with dementia, the only redirection I saw was abrupt, verbal commands and/or physically using force. Many care staff came across that they didn't even like their jobs, so the level of care and respect to the residents was unacceptable in my opinion. When I complained to the Director all it did was get the care staff I complained about mad at me. Those staff members never spoke to me again during my visits. It was very stressful to visit my mom with that type of attitude. Poor coordination between work shifts. Day shift didn't know how things went during the night and the same was true for the night shift. The Director said they coordinate, I didn't see positive results. The things I was told during the initial visit and tour about snacks, activities, experience of staff, and the level of care my mom would get didn't turn out.
