From its modest beginning with 24 apartments in 1968, Friends Homes at Guilford has earned a reputation as an outstanding retirement community. Through the years, the facility has expanded its accommodations and services and is a continuing care community offering three levels of care on a fee-for-service basis.



Most recent additions to the campus of Friends Homes at Guilford include Hobbs Hall with 40 apartments for independent living and the state-of-the art Whittier Nursing Center which includes a special Memory Care Unit. Friends Homes at Guilford also has a fitness center, library, beauty/barber shop, woodworking shop, art studio and nature trail.
