"I was very scared to move my mom into a supportive living facility, the director of this facility had my back every step of the way from start to finish and made the process seem-less, this was not an easy decision as most know if they care for a LO, my mom is happy here, the head nurse answers my texts no matter the time of day, the doctor that sees the residents noticed my mom had a UTI and had her on antibiotics right away, my mom has gained 26 lbs since moving in to her apt, her heart doctor was impressed at how well she was doing in such a short amount of time, the dining area could use some improvements as far as I noticed some heaters broken and ceiling issues, but that has no effect on the great food they serve, my mom LOVES IT! "Smith Crossing is Beautiful for Independent Living. Mom has been there since 2006 and now that she’s in skilled nursing (at 98 yrs) she’s not treated with the compassion and respect she deserves. The full time staff is pretty good the agency people couldn’t care less. I’m disgusted and the price on here is way off ! "I lived there in 2023 moved in November and after that 6mos into my stay they have roaches infestation and I heard of bed bugs being there..The place was not cleaned good elevators were nasty and the carpet on the floors were nasty..even one time the whole power in the building went out not good at all for people with oxygen..I building was under poor management and she could care less how people lived in the building ..Down to the very last month I was there she never one time had the orkin to come to my apartment for the last 2 times he was there to spray for roaches just left me hanging since I was moving out..I would have loved living there but not under them circumstances ..sleeping with the lights on ..because of the roaches being bad and getting in the bed a couple of times with me..It was very terrible living under them circumstances..I don't do roaches I'm sorry... very terrible place to live under the terrible manager that is there ..they need a more caring manager" - Esther… Read more

The management is nonexistent, with unprofessional and unresponsive staff. Complaints made with no resolution. This building is filthy. A senior does not deserve to live in this type of environment. "The Senior Suites of Auburn Gresham is usually kept clean and tidy. However, there is no security for the residents considering it sits right on 79th street. There is no security guard on staff or 24hr maintenance line to contact anyone in case there is an emergency in the units. I went to visit a friend and couldn’t get in the entry door to ring the bell because the entry door automatic system was not responding. This should not be happening. My elderly friend had to exit their apartment and come down the elevator to let me in the building. They also shut down the laundry rooms making it inconvenient for the tenants even though these services are included in the rents and are vital for tenants that have mobility issues. This building needs better management and oversight of the front office personnel as well. The lady there is often unprofessional and chatting up with her friends instead of helping the residents.
