"QSL Management, co-founded by Glenn Barclay in 2008, was born from a personal quest to provide better senior living options. Inspired by his son Blake’s relationship with his grandmother and his own struggles to find suitable senior housing for his aging mother-in-law, Barclay established The Blake brand. With a mission to offer comfort, community, and resort-style hospitality, QSL focuses on supporting residents, team members, and promoting wellness, security, and camaraderie.

I visited The Blake today for the first time and thought it was really nice. The property is gorgeous with red tiled roof and there is even a pilates room. This was my first tour so I don't know yet how this will compare, but we staff seemed friendly and the residents seemed happy. Definitely on our list!

I have visited The Blake on a few occasions as we work through trying to find a new place for my dad. So far I am really impressed with this location - the management and staff have been incredibly friendly. The interiors are beautiful as well. - everything looks new and whoever did their design is top-notch. They even have a piano lounge and since my Dad took lessons when he was young, that was a draw for him :) It's not inexpensive (I guess none of them are really) but we are really liking this one so far.

I absolutely love The Blake! My Mom moved into one of the smaller rooms - I think it is just under 400 sq feet so the hardest part about the move was just the downsizing. After that it's been smooth sailing. The staff are amazing and they're always checking in on my Mom. It was only like a week or so until we would walk the hallways and many of them already knew her by name. The food is great so if you are touring, I would definitely recommend making a reservation so you can try it for yourself.
